Below are three sample reviews of the campsite from our page on ukcampsite.co.uk:
"This is very picturesque site in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, highly recommended. It's a site that is being developed so is ideal if you don't want to be on a large camp site with your tent up against others.
Toilet facilities are provided, previously they could not be hired out at very short notice. There are two sites available, although a small third site is also available upon request should you wish to stay on your own. All of the sites are directly alongside two rives. Both also back onto woodland. Campfires and dogs on leads are permitted. Fishing is also available you just need to purchase a day pass.
There is a large village within walking distance with local amenities and two lovely country pubs close by, which do great food. The Shoemakers Arms at Pentrebach and The Lion in Defynnog.
The farmer is very welcoming and is great for advice about the local area."
"Just spent wonderful weekend on this site. Quiet, on the river, bliss. Only suitable if you can cope with wild camping as no loos or shower but would have a hard job to beat location ! Farmer was very welcoming and ideal location for walking the Brecon Beacons. Will be back in a few weeks"
"Great little site for the family and children.
Dogs and camp fires allowed.A quite and idyllic site with picturesque views and the river Usk running right by the site great shallow pools for little children and I believe that fishing is available.
A flat field well cut, this is a working farm.
The ideal location for exploring the Brecon Beacons area and walking.
There's also as well as the large site, a smaller site, still with the river Usk running by, which is more secluded and for people staying on the site more rather than travelling away. Which again has great views and is very peaceful.
We love the site, a very friendly owner always willing to help and offer advice.
Highly recommended!"
"I stayed here over Brecon Jazz festival last year and will most definitely be returning this year. The site is situated only 10mins drive from Brecon, and is a 2 minute walk to the main A40 road. We downloaded a bus timetable from the internet just in case, and the buses proved very handy."
